Pierau implements planning sophisticated logistics concept for Trixie Hamburg, November 2013 – market leader supplying TRIXIE Heimtierbedarf GmbH & co. So the processes in the warehouse had to be restructured to build for example rack systems, without compromising in the packaging operations and shipping”, Andreas Beermann explained the specific requirements of the project. The measures included installing a shuttle system with approximately 19,000 warehouses as well as the direct connection of different work areas through the use of conveyors.
